PLEASE DON'T DRIFT OFF...
There is still LOTS to be done and seen! After almost a week of working hard every day in the MS gulf region, Jennifer and Bill Strom are headed home with about 8 lucky canines and felines! These babies will be taken into foster by IAR.
Debbie Grissom and her friend Beth arrived down in the same area yesterday and have spent their time in Gulfport helping out Project Halo. Debbie reports sitting once to take a quick lunch break (which she used to return phone calls about animals). Like most of these places, there is more work to be done than anyone can imagine until they are there.
There will be THREE more teams from the Triangle area leaving in the next 2-3 weeks as well so - YES, donations are still being taken. These teams will also bring the gift of time and WORK for people and animals that need it most.
If you prefer to give to organizations outside your local area, please consider giving your deductible donation to groups listed under our LINKS site. This is NOT yesterday's news. Thousands of animals and people are STILL without shelter, running water, and electricity. They still have no where to go, and depend on people like YOU to help. This is TODAY, and will also be TOMORROW. So please don't forget...
Hello,
I hope you and Dave are doing well. Thank you so much for everything you guys have done. Can I still send a donation to your address? or what do you recommend?
Sincerely,
NJ Eason :)
