Please Help HS of Southern MS

This is NOT your typical day at a typical shelter in anywhere, USA. 

...Although much of the publicity is still focused on the New Orleans area, the situation has already passed the critical zone for animals at the Humane Society of Southern MS in Gulfport.  They are inundated beyond what most people could emotionally or physically handle.   There are some folks from the NE that have been hard at work in the disaster zone doing animal rescue, and in the shelter, and on the phones and computers, trying to get these truckloads of animals into good homes.
