Puppy paradise....
...is being rescued from a drainpipe on a frigid, wet winter day and being taken into a good Samaritan's home. Kathy Mincey and her sons found four Australian cattle dog mix puppies, along with a very fearful mama, in just such condition in Durham. Kathy has been able to earn the trust of mama dog, who is especially fearful of men. She's also managed to find homes for 2of the four puppies.
LUCKY YOU - there are still one male and one female left, seeking an active family. They are appx. 9 or 10 weeks old now. Kathy says: "The male, Jack,
is sweet, lovable, energetic, and has the cutest expression. Winter,
the female, is smaller, also energetic and loves to play, but also more
cuddly--loves, for some reason, to get on my feet and go to sleep (this
while I'm standing cooking)…she also loves to get in the recliner with
you and snooze. She has one black eye and a black spot at the top of
her tail. Their fur is very soft and smooth. Both love getting their
tummies rubbed. They are eating puppy/canned food fine, and love an
occasional chew snack. As typical puppies they love to chew--but they
understand the word "NO." They are sort of getting the hang of going
potty outside and not inside--they will almost always oblige when you
take them out."
PLEASE EMAIL KATHY DIRECTLY IF YOU'D LIKE TO MEET JACK OR WINTER
