HAY! Can you help?

Many people are working on trying to find transport for at least 2 trailers to carry a portion of the 3,400 bales of hay that are STILL in Mocksville NC.  We have an offer for use of an 18 - wheeler, but would need $ to cover fuel.
We've also had a bid of $1200 for a driver and a truck, to carry a load of hay either to Gulfport area or Vermillion Animal Aid.

As of today, no leads have come through, despite the efforts of many.

THIS HAY IS DESPERATELY NEEDED,  ASAP!!

Please consider helping through a tax-deductible donation to help cover fuel costs, so we can get at least a partial load on the way to these horses and cows.  2 trailers can hold about 1,000 bales!!

URGENT

1 ) We are still looking for transport of 3,400 bales of hay.  A generous donor in Mocksville NC offered this desperately needed gift almost a month ago.  The hay will need to be transported in 48' trailers, and about 6 trailers are needed for all the hay.  The plan is for this hay to go to Vermillion Parrish, LA and Harrison County,  At this point, we'd be happy to have partial transports to either place.  We've been told we're more likely to have commitment if we could offer some $ to help with fuel costs.  If you or your company would like to sponsor a couple of trailers, please let us know!

2)  On March 2, a not-so-smart neighbor ignited a fire that burned 30 acres of Rescue Ranch in Belle Chase.  Right now, Lori is caring for 62 horses belonging to Plaquemine residents affected by the storms.  In addition they also have 300 cows under their hurricane related care.  As you can imagine, they have a dire need for food, since almost all their fields have been destroyed.  They are looking for volunteers and donations.  There is also a Rescue Ranch volunteer that has 340 bales of hay in NC that needs transport.
