Lucky 13....

Next Saturday, January 20th, marks a BIG day for the remaining 60 cats in the Reidsville house.

A couple rescues who have already taken in several of these cats have offered more space as the deadline nears to have these cats removed from the premises.

If all rescues that have agreed to take in more cats next Saturday live up to their very gracious offer, we still will have  13 that need a place to go.

If you are a 501c3 no-kill rescue, and you have room in your heart and facility to make these the LUCKY 13, please email us ASAP!

THEY NEED YOU NOW!

Rdctrqblack_1 This cat, Dr. Pepper (or was it "Jealous") makes a case for all the reasons he should be on the next transport list.  He heard some folks say that black cats are more difficult to adopt, and he's out to prove otherwise!!

Rdctrqintake1 Kelly Ronnow, Amber Alsobrooks, and Martha Wilaby gather information to send to this lucky cat's rescuer.  First, she'll pay a visit to Dr. Ferris and all the superfabulous vets and students at the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine.  Thanks to all the "Wolfpack" for taking care of these little 'tigers'!

It wasn't like herding cattle....

OR herding cats, for that matter.  Here the cats are crating themselves in anticipation of the Paw Prints and SAFEhaven for Cats transports last Saturday. Thanks to everyone for their continued hard work!  Please see other January postings for links to all the amazing local rescues that have really stepped up to the task of caring for all these cats!

60 more cats and 3 dogs still to go....
