A letter from a rescued cat...
CAT ANGELS is one of the kind rescues that took in some of the cats from the Reidsville case. Several of the 20 they took in have been adopted. This letter is from one of them:
I've settled into my new home, which
is now stuffed with scatching posts, catnip toys, cat teasers, treats, a fancy
waterfall water bowl, and LOTS of windows to look out of. I quickly discovered
that I rule here, so I took the name Huey P. Long, because I've got my paws into
everything. But my new Mom refers to me as The Governor. My vet, who's from New
Orleans, calls me The Kingfish. Here's a picture of me doing what I
like best -- looking out the window and guarding the house from Squirrels of
Mass Destruction. Those are my friends Angel the Vampire and Scabbers the
Rat helping out.
And did I mention that I'm going to be
FAMOUS? My Mom is a writer and is going to put me in her newest book! I'll
probably just save the world or something... yaaawwwn.
Love,
Huey
