Thank you....

Second Chance Pet Adoptions, for providing several donations of food for the Reidsville cat rescue for the past 4 months.  Some of the food went to rescues who agreed to squeeze in "just a few more" cats, to help them offset some of the costs they have incurred.

FYI - Second Chance is also giving away a car!!  -- Interested? Go to the Second Chance website!

Case almost closed

THANKS TO THE GENEROSITY AND CARING OF MANY INDIVIDUALS AND NC RESCUES, OVER 100 ANIMALS WERE REMOVED from a very overcrowded and unhealthy circumstance.

We are looking for placement for SIX (6) more, in order to get to the number that will 'activate' the legal agreement limiting this person's number of animals in the future.

There are 3 semi feral cats and 3 tame but very shy cats, all of which will be vetted and altered prior to placement:

Missy - Solid grey, DSH, 2 years old.  Sweet but very shy and somewhat fearful.  She does let people pet her but needs much reassuring.
Roxy - 6 months old, black and white female.  Roxy enjoys the company of small dogs, and wants to learn how to become more trusting of people.  Also very sweet but fearful.
Tasha - 1 year old, black with small white spot on chest. Tasha lived on the screened in porch of the home all her life, with little opportunity for socialization with people.  She needs a quiet foster home or adopter that has patience to teach her the benefits of a little TLC.

Porquine  - Long black hair, altered 2 years old - semi feral
Peanut - DSH 2 years old, female, spayed has some mouth - semi feral
Sasha - DSH brown tabby, 2 years old, female

Two's Company

Here's another update on some of the Reidsville rescues.  This from Cat Angels:

Spud, the black male with vampire fangs that cracked us up all the time and Muffin, Jacqueline's sister, both went home together today with a family with two kids.  The kids adored the two cats and vice versa.

Looks like Spud was especially ecstatic to hear he was going to a new home!
