PRESIDENT SIGNS LANDMARK LEGISLATION
After 6 years of campaigning (by animal rights groups, not just the president), president Bush signed the Animal Fighting Prohibition Act. This legislation sets felony penalties not just for animal fighting, but also related activities, including the sale of cockfighting weapons.
