Local Events Supporting Animals in Need

THURSDAY SEPT. 6  @ 6p.m., Raleigh -  ReTails Thrift Shop, unveils an outdoor mural  by artist Celine Ward.  Refreshments will be served, and of course you can shop while you are there.  100% of proceeds to support AnimalKind's  ongoing spay/neuter program.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 8 - WOOF WASH to benefit APS of Orange County. @ Camp Bow Wow.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 29,   DOGTOBER FEST 2007, 10 a - 3 p at Oakwood Park in Raleigh. A parade with representatives from over 20 animal rescues and even more animal-related vendors.  There will be contests, give-aways, flyball and agility demonstrations, and even a microchip clinic!!

SAT. & SUN. SEPT. 29th & 30th, ITALIAN TEA PARTY to benefit Independent Animal Rescue.   2 p.m. at the Goathouse Gallery in Pittsboro @ 2 p.m.  Enjoy wine, tea, desserts, and a silent auction.

SATURDAY OCT. 6 - Jambalaya Jam to benefit the APS of Orange County.
