Ashbrook Fire Update

Great news.... DUCATI IS HOME!!

Ducati's people have never given up, and have worked hard on his behalf to find him.  Earlier this week, they went walking around the apartments just before bed, around 10:00, and he was sitting on the steps of their old building! They called for him, he meowed back, and next thing you know he's back with his family!

Thanks to the kindness of Bayou Rescue donors and volunteers, Ducati will have a vet check-up tomorrow, and we were able to bring Ducati presents to replace items they lost in the fire.  THANK YOU!  Ducati was especially thrilled to have a new scratching post, and demonstrated his scratching prowess right away.  Oh, and this cat will enjoy playing fetch with his new assortment of jingly,disco-y ball toys.

Pass the word along that we are still looking for Coco, and will need several volunteers to help continue trapping efforts (esp. weekends and mornings)  Ducati's people have been a tremendous help by continuing to help in this effort.
